Vintage Clearly for You

Todays card is a gorgeous bright array of colours and stunning SU! supplies!! I have used melon mambo as my card base and stamped the en francais background stamp in versamark and stamped onto the card. i ran some old olive through the vintage wallpaper embossing folder and big shot and used elegant eggplant ribbon along the middle. i punched the decorative lable punch using melon mambo and stamped the flower image and no.5 image from clearly for you using old olive and i then used my blender pen and elegant eggplant ink to colour in the buds.
i punched this put using the extra large oval punch and adhered over the melon mambo decorative label. i punched out some very vanilla with the round tab punch and in elegant eggplant, stamped the 'for you' sentiment from clearly for you. to add interest, i stamped the flower image again in old olive and attatched this to the card. hope you like it as much as i do!! bye for now xxx

Spinner Cards

I am sharing 2 spinner cards today but as I don't have the luxury of videoing my creativness, you wont get to see them in action!! They basicly work when you tip the card for side to side and the image spins within the gap side to side as you tip the card.

If you google youtube and type in spinner cards, you will be spoilt for choice on how to watch how these cute cards are made!!

Here i used baja breeze as my card base and inked the monkey in baja breeze too. i used the 1-3/8" circle punch and layered that on the old olive scallop circle.i used the birthday sentiment from occasional greetings and stamped that in old olive too. i finished with crumb cake seam binding.
For the girls card i used regal rose for the card base and nursery suite dsp. i stamped the lion in old olive and also the sentiment. i used the same punches as before and finished off with pear pizazz seam binding.
Till next time xxx

Baby Rattles

Good morning and today i will be sharing 2 baby cards using the sweet treat cups but i didnt add any sweets, i added beads!! my card base was crumb cake and i then ran pretty in pink and bashful blue through the polka dots die and big shot (seperatly) and then using the extra large circle punch (1-3/4") i punched out a circle. i added trhe tiny beads and carefully adhered the basics to the card base trying not too tip the cup to much and result in teent tiny beeds everywhere!!

Once that was done i stamped the handle in crumb cake and cut it out and attached with dimentionals. for the girl card i used pear pizazz seam binding ribbon and the boys card i used marina mist ribbon. for the sentiment, i stamped sweet little baby in co-orinating colours for the card stock and then the little heart in crumb cake. i punched it out with the oval punch and raised them with a dimentional!

I think it's such a cute and simple card and acts like a babies rattle! happy weekend to you all ;) x

More Sweet Treats

Today i am sharing another idea on how to use the sweet treat cups and the something sweet stamp set. i used white jelly beans for this and the sunflower image.
I used the same colour combo from the previous post, daffoldil delight and old olive. i ran the old olive card stock through the big shot again with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder. on the whisper white i punched the circle out with the 1-3/4" punch and using the petal stamp, i inked it with daffodil delight and stamped it all around the circle amking sure i overlaped each one slightly. i used the sentiment as a flower stem and added the leave stamp in old olive. i added the jelly beans (you can add sunflower seeds if you want-the choices are endless!) and adhered to the card with tombow. the sweet treat cups do have their own peel off adhesive but it's on one side so you may need to add extra. thanks for looking ;)

Sweet Treats!

Today i am sharing a sweet treat cup card! I love these cups and they are such good value for money as you get 12 for just £2.95!!! I used the co-ordinating something sweet stamp set-LOVE this set, you can do so much with it and i will be sharing plently of ideas with you soon! I stamped the sweet machine in choc chip on whisper white and on scrap paper, i punched out a circle with the 1-3/4" circle punch and positioned above the image and then stamped the top of the sweet machine. i then re-moved the scrap piece and punched out a circle for the cup to sit in. i stamped the little gum balls in daffodil delight and old olive randomly.

I ran some old olive through the big shot and vintage wallpaper folder and adhered to my daffodil delight card base. The sentiment is from the something sweet set also and this was stamped in old olive onto daffodil delight and punched out with the extra large oval punch.

I will share another sweet treat cup card tomorrow! xxx

Scrapbooking

Hi there! It seems like forever since i did any scrapbooking so i have been fishing out some old pictures of my son and made a couple of scrapbook pages using current SU! products. The first one is of him when he was 18 weeks old...so cute!!
I used tangerine tango and some dsp and the "cherish" sentiment from the love stories simply scrappin' kit, inked the chipboard and added 2 rhinestones. I punched out 3 large hearts from the extra large heart punch in matching card stock and added some chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon.

I used the tab punch to add a little extra to the top right of the cute little photo and added rhinestones and the "love you" sticker from the same scrappin' kit. The corner rounder punch was used to round off the photo edges. To finish i added scraps of dsp and sticky strips from the scrappin' kit.

The second scrapbook page i did is of max when he was about 2 years old (he is now 4 BTW!) and my wonderful dad took the photos of max in a buttercup field.
I used dsp from lap of luxury and again used my corner rounder punch (i use this for nearly all my scrapbook photos as i love the softness it adds to the picture). A subtles button was used for the centre of the flower and i cut a very thin strip of matching cardstock and fed it through the button holes and gently used my bone folder to curl the strips.

The yellow cardstock was from my personal SU! collection and i added 3 tiny tags sentiments stamped in tempting turquoise and punched them out with the jewelry tag punch! Hope you like xxx

Plane and Simple #4

Hi there and good morning to all of you. The sun is out today with his hat very much on!! I will share the last installment of the plane and simple range with you today and then move onto something else. I have had so much fun with this set and I really love how much you can do with it as it has 3 different greeting, happy birthday, happy father's day and thank you!
Here I have used real red card base and used up scraps. I stamped the diamond image in green galore, used pacific point card stock and punch out a sun with the 1 3/8" circle punch. I stamped the plane in real red and cut  out. I added some twill tape and stamped the happy birthday greeting onto it and tied a little string to it. Very quick and easy! Enjoy your weekend :) x

Plane and Simple #3

Hi there and here is card number 3 from the Plane and Simple range!! I have used garden green as a card base and very vanilla. I stamped the plane in choc chip (i think!) and used the stamp off technique for the tree from lovely as tree set in garden green. I then stamped the frames from four frames in choc chip and punched out with the decorative punch and stamped the thank you from plane and simple. I adhered this with dimentionals and added a library clip.
Till tomorrow folks! x

Plane and Simple #2

Hi there and welcome to the second installment of the versitile Plane and Simple set.
I used soft suede as a base and layred some very vanilla that had been stamped with the happy birthday sentiment for the same stamp set and the background stamp-sanded. I cut a piece of soft suede card stock and stamped the happy birthday on this also. I used the plane and inked it with soft suede onto very vanilla, sponged the egdes and crumpled it up to give it some texture and then finished the look off with a library clip. Really simple and effective...LOVE IT!!!

Plane and Simple #1

I am going to sharing several cards for 'him' in the next few days as it's always quite hard to get inspiration when it comes to the male species!!! These cards were made at my quartly team training and I am LOVIN' this set so much! So here goes...
I am in love with this layout-it's so simple yet so stunning. The colours are river rock and not quite navy. I used the specles jumbo wheel and inked it in river rock onto river card stock and then tore the edge and stamped the sentiment from plane and simple in not quite navy. I added some twill tape and tied in a knot. I stamped the images on very vanilla in not quite navy and punched out with the 1 1/4" square punch then layered it onto the 1 3/8" square punch in river rock. And there you have it. LOVE IT!!! x

Back To Work!

Hi there and welcome back to my blog!! I have had a few days rest again due to the long weekend. We went home to see family and friends and to celebrate a friends 30th birthday, and drink and be merry! So as I have been off for a while, I will share 2 cards today-same design but different colour combos.
The first one I used crumb cake and river rock along with the newsprint dsp. I cut strips of the dsp and stuck them onto some scrap card stock. i placed the card face down onto the top note die and ran it throught the big shot. I added some crumb cake seam binding ribbon and added the sentiment stamped in cherry cobbler from occasional greetings and punched it out with the extra large oval punch. I finished the card off with a cute little library clip.

The second card was exactly the same but I used cherry cobbler as the card base instead of crumb cake...
I love both these cards and were made for the men out there! Keeping in the manly theme, I will be sharing several other cards for 'him' in the next few days as Fathers Day approaches us!! Hope you like them x
