Fox and Friends

Morning all and it's another sunny day. We had a thunder storm yesterday and it has semed to clear the air...finally!! I am sharing childrens cards today using the fox and friends set-which i love so much!! I have used a collection of subtles dsp and card stock with co-ordinating inks. The first card is this one..
I have used pink pirouette as the colour used throughout and punched out the fox with the extra large oval punch and added a couple of dimentionals to raise it. I stamped the happy birthday from curly cute in the same colour ink.
Here are all the others I made...
I used marina mist with the monkey, certainly celery with the lion, rose red with the turtle and daffodil delight with the owl. They all look so cute don't they!!
Have a lovely day and till next time xxx's :)

Sunday Share

Hi there and I hope you are enjoying the amazing sunshine we are having this weekend. I went to my wonderful friends house yesterday who I have known since school, and a few of us Mummys and our kiddies got together for a BBQ and a good catch up! It was so lovely to see her and I will share a sweet photo of her and her cute little bump!
Gorgeous Bryony and her bump! My son had a great time also as the garden was nice and big for him to run and play outside all afternoon!!
So my project for today are bookmarks. These have been popular recently on other blogs so I thought I would have a turn! I used the Fun Flowers and the big shot and used perfect plum card stock and wild wasabi card stock. I sponged the edges in the same colour ink as the cards stock and then I used tombow to layer the petals ontop of each other and once they were attatched I used a subtles button attached with a glue dot and I tied some twine in a bow through the holes.
For the perfect plum bookmark, I used a rose red button and then on whisper white card stock I stamped the block image from clearly for you in perfect plum (stamping off a couple of time to lighten the ink) then stamped the for you sentiment also form clearly for you, in rose red. I punched this out with the jewelry tag punch and attatched to the botton with another glue dot. I attatched some retired rose red ribbon to the bakc of the largest flower with sticky strip and cut at an angle at the bottom.
I finished both bookmarks with a good spritz of shimmer paint for sparkle!!
I used the same process for the wild wasabi bookmark but used the hand crafted stamp from tiny tags as the sentiment for this one. I love how these look and thank you to whoever came up with this wonderful idea!!! Enjoy the sun everyone ;)

I'm Back In Action!!

Hello and it's good to be back! I have been without a camera so I have not been able to upload any photos or blog anything!! I have been busy with new projects so here is one...
I used one of my fave sets-greenhouse garden and stamped the solid image in bashful blue and the 2-step image in marina mist using my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the image perfectly! I ran versamark over the flowers and sprinkled over heat and stick powder then heated with my heat gun until it became shiny. Then i sprinkled dazzling diamonds ontop and reheated to set. Once they were cool, I cut them out. For the card layout, i used whisper white and cut a piece of marina mist 1/8" smaller to give the card a white border. I used the en francais background stamp in marina mist and then used my marina mist marker pen and the sprizter tool over the card.
I arranged the cut out flowers and punched out some old olive branches from the 2 step bird punch and arranged under the flowers. I stamped the thanks greeting and the floral image from tiny tags in marina mist ink and punched out with the jewelry punch. I finished with some marina mist ribbon and used my sewing machine to secure-i love this look!! I added a strip of scrap whisper white to the bottom.

Ten Minute Wonder!

Hello there. I'm sharing a ten minute card with you today using the gorgeous springtime vintage dsp. I have cut an a4 sheet of crumb cake in half width ways then folded it in half. I cut some dsp from the springtime vintage range and cut 2 strips extra from another sheet (in the same dsp range). One strip was snailed along the top and the other was prettied up for the bottom using the border edge punch.

I tied some rose red seam binding ribbon around the card and dampened the ends, scrunched then left to dry natrually. I punched out 4 scallop circles from the springtime vintage dsp range and used my spritzer and scrunched them up. While they were drying i stamped the 'for you' sentiment from occasional greetings set in rose red and punched this out with the 1" circle punch.

I stacked the scalloped circles ontop of each other glueing each one using tombow and finished off with the 1" circle in the middle on a dimentional.

I hope you like this as much as i do and give it a go in 10 minutes!! Bye for now xxx

Top Note and Greenhouse Garden

Hello and todays card is a beauty using the versatile top note die and the gorgeous 2-step stampin' greenhouse garden flowers set. I cased the layout from Monica Gales blog (thanks ;)!). I used baja breeze card stock cut in half then scored in half and ran some very vanilla through the top note die and big shot. I stamped the diamond image from Plane and Simple in baja breeze along the top and bottom and tied some rose red seam binding ribbon across the top. To get the scrunched effect, just dampen the ribbon and scrunch up. Leave it to dry and it stays scrunched!!
I stamped the flowers from greenhouse garden in baja breeze then used the rock n roll technique to get the old olive around the flower edges and stamped the flower veins in old olive also, using the stamp-a-ma-jig. I cut these out and adhered to the top note using tombow and added some rhinestone gems to the centers.

I finished by stamping the just for sentiment from oval all in rose red on rose red card stock and punched out using the scallop oval punch.

Until next time xxx

Baby Fox and Friends

Todays card is a new baby one and i have used the polka dot embossing folder and big shot, some nursery suite dsp, old olive scraps and made some baja breeze look preety with the scallop edge border punch. I added crumb cake seam binding ribbon and stamped the cute little monkey in choc chip onto crumb cake also and punched this out with the extra large 1 3/8" circle punch.
I stamped the 'baby' greeting from tiny tags in choc chip too onto very vanilla and punched out with the jewelry tag punch and popped it up with a dimentional and added a rhinestone. Cute and simple!! xxx

Manhattan Sanded Flowers

For todays card I have run some rose red dsp through the manhattan flower embossing folder and big shot and then simply gently sanded the raised flowers so it leaves them white. I mounted this onto very vanilla and then a rose red card base with some very vanilla ribbon.

The sentiment is from tiny tags and i punched this out using the decorative label punch and then putting it back into the punch to make it smaller-it's a great trick! I finished by adding a couple of gems.

Bye for now xxx
